1978 Triumph Dolomite Sprint Cont... This example was originally owned by the National Union of Domestic Appliances & General Metal Workers & has since has had four owners, one of which was a Union Official & another his daughter. The car finally came to belong to Wendy of Loughborough in 2003, having been fully restored to a high standard in 1996. The car has needed very little work in the last few years, other than the usual servicing & maintenance. The restoration undertaken was faithful to the original specification & the only modification is a stainless steel exhaust. The car has the Manufacturer’s optional overdrive fitted, making those long motorway journeys quiet & economical. |
