1973 Triumph GT6 Model History:- Manufactured between July 1966 and November 1973, the GT6 model went as far as the Mk III version, first produced with the “new Spitfire look” in 1970. A total of 13,042 were built. The GT6 is increasingly less common as it is often converted into the “Spit 6”, the six-cylinder Spitfire that Triumph never made. The GT6 boasts the smooth straight 6 engine, developing 105 bhp, getting it to 60 mph in around 9 seconds. |
